What Docora does with your files

Permissions

Google services used by the app

Docora uses Google ML Kit (document scanner, on-device text recognition, language identification and on-device translation), provided through Google Play services. Your images and text are processed on the device. ML Kit may send Google limited technical information to keep the features working and improve them: device model and Android version, app package name and version, a per-installation identifier (not used to identify you), performance and error information, and the size and format of processed images (not the images themselves), and for translation the pair of languages used and the detected language (never the text itself). This data is encrypted in transit and is not shared with third parties by Google, as described in Google's ML Kit data disclosure. Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Translation language downloads

Translation needs a language file for each language (about 30 MB each). Docora downloads one only when you ask for it, from Google's servers through ML Kit, and you can choose to download only on Wi-Fi. After that, translation works offline. You can delete downloaded languages at any time in Settings › Translation › Manage languages. Your text and documents are never sent to translate them.

Data collected by the developer

None. Docora has no servers, accounts, advertising or tracking.

Children

Docora is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Deleting your data

Delete files inside the app, or uninstall Docora to remove everything in its private storage. Files you saved to other folders stay there until you delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
